The Syphilis Instant test is suitable just nine days after potential exposure, though a longer period of incubation may be required if you are combining your test with another of our Instant tests.

Which samples will be used?
Better2Know’s Instant Syphilis test requires a small sample of blood, which can be taken using a finger prick lancet. The test is available for both men and women, and is perfect for those who are not too fond of needles.
How will I receive my results?
As the test normally takes around 20 minutes to run, you will receive your results before leaving the clinic. Your Better2Know doctor will also provide you with a Rapid Test Results Report for your own personal records.
What if I test positive?
Should your Instant Syphilis test prove reactive, Better2Know can schedule a second appointment for further, confirmatory testing, at no extra cost. This will allow us to ascertain whether you have a current or previous Syphilis infection. Our sexual health advisory team also help with referrals and doctor’s consultations, either in person or over the phone. You can also show the test results to your regular doctor or healthcare provider.
