Which samples will be used?
Available in selected locations across the Middle East, Better2Know’s Instant Hepatitis C test requires a single blood sample to detect infection. This will be collected by the qualified clinician at your private appointment, usually via a finger prick lancet. This test has no fasting requirements.
How will I receive my results?
Test results are available within 30 minutes of providing your sample, and you will receive them whilst you wait in the clinic. Your Better2Know doctor will also provide you with a Rapid Test Results Report for your personal records.
What if I test positive?
Patients with reactive Hepatitis C Instant tests will have the option to schedule a second appointment for confirmatory testing, at no further cost. Better2Know can also arrange private doctor’s consultations and we will refer you to a specialist service, if necessary. You can also take your confidential results to your own doctor.
