What is a menopause test?
The Better2Know menopause test assesses your menopausal status by determining the levels of five hormones that contribute to the regulation of your reproductive cycle. Hormones are important in that they control different processes within your body such as digestion, lactation, metabolism, and reproduction.

- Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH). This controls production of the thyroid hormones
- Free thyroxine (FT4). This can assist in determining whether your thyroid is functioning properly
- Oestradiol. A hormone which is important for the growth and development of the female reproductive system

What happens if I need further help after my menopause test results?
If the Better2Know menopause test confirms the menopause, we recommend that you discuss the next steps with a doctor. This could be your own GP or Better2Know can arrange a private consultation from a location around the Middle East using our extensive network of highly skilled doctors. At your consultation, it may be decided that you do not need any treatment if your symptoms are not severe.
